Cellenis  PRP

Cellenis® Derma PRP

®

Introducing Cellenis Derma PRP - Platelet-Rich Plasma - is a revolutionary skin rejuvenation treatment that utilizes your own blood to enhance collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture and restoring a youthful glow!

Platelets are best known for the role they play in blood clotting, but they also are a biochemical treasure trove of growth factors that are key to the recovery and healing of tissues by enhancing physiologic processes, such as increasing blood flow, stimulating oil glands, promoting growth of not only collagen, but new skin cells.

This cutting-edge technique of creating PRP not only provides immediate volume, but also supports long-term dermal health and hair regrowth by releasing essential proteins and growth factors - in a natural way!

Cellenis® PRP

How it's Created

  1. A specialist draws blood directly into Cellenis® PRP vacuum tube containing a patented separation gel and an anticoagulant. This process and filtration ensures efficient preparation of pure PRP.

  2. The blood is placed into a centrifuge for 10 minutes at 1500g.

  3. The patented gel in the tube separates the blood platelets, growth factors, and anabolic cells from PPP (platelet-poor plasma), RBC (red blood cells), and catabolic granulocytes (a type of white blood cell that contains enzyme granules).

  4. A portion of the PPP may be removed to increase the platelet concentration of the sample. This step is optional and amount is determined by the clinician.

  5. The platelets are then placed back into suspension by inverting the tube several times.

  6. The resultant liquid is known as PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, which is then injected back into the client for use as a derma filler encouraging collagen growth, and in combination with microneedling for hair restoration at the follicular level.

Treatment Procedure

Upon the client's arrival, a numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. Length of numbing time will depend on the individual and treatment area, but will typically be 30-45 minutes.

A small amount of blood is then drawn into a Cellenis PRP vial containing a patented gel in order to separate the platelets from other blood components, such as red blood cells and white blood cells, leaving a desirable PRP suspension to be used in treatment.

This PRP is then used as a filler or with microneedling, and is injected into desired treatment site to stimulate collagen growth, hair regrowth, and new blood vessels.

Did you know that skin sheds approximately 30,000 cells per minute? That's 1M in a day! (About 1.5lbs per year!) This process is important for overall skin health and infection prevention. Though this shedding isn't visible, it occurs constantly on your face and body. A full skin turnover, where newly formed skin cells reach the surface, takes teenagers about 3 weeks, while adults on average take 28 days. This timeframe increases with age, causing a buildup of dead cells, which makes the skin look dull and dry.
